Are you interested in making your house more energy efficient, adding a beautiful design element, and never having to replace your roof again? Look no further then the Metal Roof.

With beautiful styles now imitating the look of stone and clay, metal roofing is the way to go when upgrading your roof. Residential metal roofing is a fast growing segment in home improvement. Dont Forget the Waterproofing

Dont Forget the Waterproofing

One of the common mistakes we see when we get called to estimate the cost of repairing a flooded basement, is that clients spend thousands of dollars remodeling their home exterior but do not water poof their basements prior to doing so. Many older homes in Toronto do not have the infrastructure to handle the heavy sudden rain we have been seeing in recent years and if the home does not have a back flow preventer in place or better yet a basement that is fully water proofed, the results are devastating with thousand dollars in damages. Before spending any significant money to renovate your basement, please start with waterproofing first. If you are working on the interior you should at least reduce the risk of flooding through the basement drain with a backflow preventer valve. If your house has a basement floor drain, it could be subject to backflow. Backflow is what happens when the city sanitary sewer surcharges; this refers to the rise in water levels in sewer mains caused by the overloading or a blockage in the city sewer system. The end result is you end up getting sewage entering your basement through the floor drain. If you are concerned about your basement standing the test of this springs rain fall, call us to make an appointment. You do not want to be stuck undoing all the work you put into upgrading your home because of a flooded...
